Retailing at £3400 pair, Perlisten’s R4b are the entry hi-fi speakers in the brand’s universally acclaimed line-up, but as veteran Hi-Fi scribe Chris Frankland discovers for the-ear.net they “punch well above their weight”, offering “truly excellent value for money”. Hitting top spot with an Editor’s Choice accolade, the R4bs were “immediately enjoyable, musically informative, detailed and rhythmically coherent. “Whatever I threw at them, says Chris “the R4b always brought a smile to my lips…you owe it to yourself to hear them.”
