If you’re after an affordable unfussy amp for a smaller stereo system, or to add further channels to an AV setup, Emotiva Audio’s BasX A2m Stereo Flex design might be “just what the sonic doctor ordered” says Hi-Fi Choice magazine. Awarding 5 stars for value in its March 25 issue it likes “authoritative, deep-reaching sonics; variable output aids system building” and concludes that “where some budget rivals only dance along the surface of the music, this unit dives right in.”
