Brand kudos to MoFi for a spectacular follow-up to its EISA award-winning UltraDeck+M. This time it’s the ‘entry’ StudioDeck+ turntable/cartridge in the ‘Outstanding’ spotlight. Ken Kessler in January 2020’s Hi Fi News says “I was not prepared for such an instant dose of sheer delight. You all know the sensation when caught unawares by a product that defies its price category with magical sounds, and the StudioDeck is one of them. Having admired the current EISA award-winning UltraDeck + M in Feb’s Hi Fi Choice he continues the sentiment in April’s mag saying that SD+ “excels particularly in terms of soundstaging and arranges instruments and singers expertly…(it’s) a great turntable package in its own right and so comes warmly recommended.”
