If you’re after an affordable unfussy amp for a smaller stereo system, or to add further channels to an AV setup, Emotiva’s BasX A2m Stereo Flex design might be “just what the sonic doctor ordered” says Hi Fi Choice mag. Awarding 5 stars for value in its March 25 issue it likes “authoritative, deep-reaching sonics; variable output aids system building” and concludes that “where some budget rivals only dance along the surface of the music, this unit dives right in.”
