We’re chuffed that the first of Primare’s highly anticipated Prisma models: the I35 Prisma integrated amplifier and CD35 Prisma CD player have arrived in the UK! Each features Prisma, Primare’s new whole-home, high-fidelity control and connectivity solution. The platform offers network playback from stored and streamed media, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® connection, as well as multi- room/multi-zone connectivity and control, all managed through the Prisma application, allowing Prisma system management from any mobile device.
The I35 Prisma integrated amplifier (2 x 150W, 8 ohm) uses the new UFPD 2 power system, and in addition to fully balanced analogue input options, includes a full-featured DAC stage enabling PCM 768kHz and DSD 256 conversion, as well as Prisma connectivity and control technology.
The CD35 Prisma CD player is a complete digital music source, blending a state-of-the-art TEAC CD drive with Prisma technology. The all-new DAC stage, utilising a superb-sounding ESS Sabre chipset for conversion of music files up to PCM 384kHz and DSD 256, feeds a finely-tuned balanced analogue output stage.
