No longer must a surround receiver, a Blu-Ray player, physical movie media and metres of speaker cable clutter the living room. Wi-Fi-ready with Chromecast, Airplay 2, Spotify Connect, DLNA and Bluetooth 4.2, the Surround Hub sets up using System Audio’s ‘SA Cockpit’ app or via Surround Hub’s on-screen display. Choose Ethernet to connect movie streams from the cloud or storage, and plug-in analogue sources, digital players and games consoles via 3 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x HDMI eARC/ARC, 2 x optical (up to 192kHz), 1 x RCA analogue inputs. The Surround Hub decodes PCM 2-channel, PCM multi-channel, Dolby Atmos, Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital 7.1/5.1, Dolby Digital Plus, and outputs up to 8 channels of uncompressed audio in 24/96 resolution to compatible WiSA speakers (like the Silverback actives in floor, shelf, stand and wall mounted LCR/surround versions). It’s high definition home cinema without the wires!
